Yulin Shih joined Burns Fitzpatrick as an associate in 2020 after completing his articles at a boutique full-service firm in downtown Vancouver. Yulin practices primarily in the area of insurance defence and has experience in the areas of wills and estates, family law, and business and corporate law. Yulin has appeared on matters and assisted counsel in the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Yulin obtained his law degree at the University of Calgary in 2018. During law school, Yulin was a Co-President of the Diversity and Law Society (DLS) and a Student Director of The Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers Western chapter.
Prior to law school, Yulin studied Political Science at the University of British Columbia and worked as a Constituency Assistant for a Member of the Legislative Assembly.
