Teera Jacobs Fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital

From June to October 2016, Teera Jacobs, Paralegal at Burns Fitzpatrick, will be participating in “Grind for Kids”, a BC Children’s Hospital event.

Teera is participating in memory of her cousin’s son, Keian Blundell, a fun, charming and extremely lovable young boy, who at age 5 was diagnosed with leukemia. He received excellent care at BC Children’s Hospital until he was transferred to Canuck Place, where he passed on Jan 1, 2014. He fought his illness with an enormous strength that has continued to inspire Teera through many physical challenges.

Teera is asking friends, family, and community members to pledge $1 or more for every Grouse Grind she does between now until the end of the Grouse Grind season. Money raised will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital to benefit remarkable children, like Keian. In seven years, over 20,000 Grouse Grinds have counted towards the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and close to $871,000 has been raised for sick children in BC.
